Caught in the Act of Good Parenting!

This is an exciting new series of articles based on witnessing acts of good parenting.  Unfortunately there are many instances of just the opposite.  We read about it everyday and witness it ourselves at the grocery store, soccer field, and at the park.  Hopefully we can find those parents who 'get it right', those parents who actually parent.

Please read on.

The Best Places to Find a

Friendly Smile and Kind Treatment

One of the reoccurring themes in most of the workshops and classes I present is recognition.  And, why not?  I teach people to be nice to each other.  Recognizing the kindnesses of others is essential for the perpetuation of kind behavior.

So along that line of thought, I decided that what we need is a little recognition of the kindnesses and the wonderful smiles I am greeted with on a daily basis.  Here I would like to share with you the best places, in my humble opinion, to find a friendly smile and a kind behavior.  Of course, you are free to share your experiences with us also.

Hey, the more the merrier!

Below you will notice that I found Friendly Smiles & Kind Treatment in my very own back yard--well, almost.

The Nugget Market on Covell in Davis is comfortable and excites the senses.  The people are a treat as well.

Phone Interview Contributions

Many of my interviews with writers are telephone interviews.  So for those, unfortunately, I do not have their questions and my replies to share with you.

Here is a brief view of my contributions that have been published from those phone interviews.

Elena M. Macaluso, Sacramento Magazine, Holiday Parties, Tips from Our Pros.

Elaine Corn, Sacramento Magazine,  Easy Holiday Entertaining.

Michele M. Melendez, Newhouse News Service, Mind Your Manners This Halloween.

Most don't forward the address or give me a copy of the article.  So, there are many more articles out there.  These very generous people did.  Thank you.
